• Account data: name, email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile picture.
• Payment data: subscription plan, billing history, and Paystack transaction IDs. Card numbers are handled by Paystack — we never see or store them.
• Content you submit: the gig topics, niches, buyer details, and other prompts you enter into our tools.
• AI-generated outputs: the content our AI returns, which we save in your history so you can revisit it.
• Usage data: which tools you use, how often, and basic device / browser information for diagnostics.
• Support data: messages you send us via WhatsApp or email.

2. Why We Collect It

We use your data to:

• Operate, secure, and improve GIGAnalyser;
• Generate AI content using third-party AI providers;
• Process payments and prevent fraud;
• Send important account, billing, and security notifications;
• Respond to support requests.

We do not use your prompts or outputs to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal data — ever.

3. How We Share Your Data

We share data only with the trusted third-party services that make GIGAnalyser work:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting;
• Paystack — payment processing;
• AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) — only the prompts and context needed to generate your outputs;
• Cloud hosting (e.g. AWS, Fly.io, or Render) — infrastructure;
• Analytics — only if you have given consent.

We may also disclose data when required by Nigerian law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Where We Store It

Your data is stored on servers in the United States and Europe, with backups in the EU. By using GIGAnalyser you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Nigeria.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use a minimal set of cookies and localStorage items to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as dark mode), and protect against abuse. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time without losing your account.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold on you;
• Correction — fix inaccurate information;
• Deletion — permanently delete your account and all associated data;
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format;
• Object — opt out of any processing you have not consented to.

7. Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we erase your prompts, outputs, and personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).

8. Children's Privacy

GIGAnalyser is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notification.
